Annually, the "Spirits of the Museum" (a volunteer support organization for the museum) hold their wildly popular and sinfully delicious "Chocolate, Champagne & Candlelight".
New this past year, was a Friday night event. Ainsley Brook Wonderling has collected antique clothing for more than 30 years. What began as a search for vintage hats for an oak hall tree became a passion for early millinery that grew into a collection of gowns and accessories with an emphasis on the American Civil War. Ainsleybrought selections from her collection to show the great variety of fabrics and colors that cannot always be appreciated from the study of Civil War photographs. Also, on view were 30 themed tabletop Christmas trees.
