Purpose:

To tell the unique story of Galena, Jo Daviess County, and the Northwest Driftless Area to local, regional, and national audiences.

Mission:

To operate a museum and related sites and to make educational programming and the collections accessible through traditional and contemporary methods.

Vision:

To enrich lives by connecting people to the distinctive heritage of Galena, Jo Daviess County, and the Northwest Illinois Driftless Area.

Lead Miner-$150:

Blacksmith-$250: All of the above, plus an additional two free guest tickets with each museum visit (total of four).

Steamboat Captain-$500: All of the above benfits, plust one private museum tour for the members and four guests, and 10% off "Made in Galena" gift shop items.

Galena General-$1000: All of the above benefits, plust an additional two free guest tickets with each museum visit (total of six), 10% off "Made in Galena" gift shop items, an added behind-the-scenes "white glove" demonstration during your private guided museum tour, and two free admission tickets to the event of your choice (some restrictions apply).

Business Membership-$100: Includes all of the standard membership benefits plus three extra membership cards, free one-time admission for all staff members, ten free museum admission tickets to hand out to clients, and rack card space as one of our partnering businesses.
